Yard & Garden Flags

A yard flag is a supporter item: one per household, handed out at the door, put up by somebody who is not going to fetch tools. So it is a sewn pole sleeve and a stake, and it goes in with a foot.

Because a lawn is walked round from both directions, these are double-sided by default. A mirrored name in somebody’s front garden is the version that gets photographed and mocked.

The failure here is not wind, it is a season of sun and a strimmer. We hem all four edges rather than heat-cutting them, so the bottom edge survives being clipped, and we print on a fabric that holds colour rather than going pink by August.
